You Had Me At Black

You Had Me at Black is a storytelling movement reclaiming the Black narrative by passing regular people the mic to share their stories in their words.

We started in 2016 as a podcast & event series and became an archive of Black Millennial life, a nation-wide community, and a movement to tell Black stories in an unprecedented way.

Each story builds the narrative of who we are as a generation. As we collectively grow and evolve as people, so does You Had Me at Black. Our activities reflect that.

In 2021, our focus is on creating space and opportunities for Black imagination.

The Midnight Miracle is a thought-provoking podcast that uniquely blends the salon and variety show traditions while providing a glimpse into the inner lives of hosts Talib Kweli, yasiin bey, Dave Chappelle, and friends.

Imagine you could call up a friend and say, "Meet me at the bar and tell me what's going on with the economy." Now imagine that's actually a fun evening. That's what we're going for at Planet Money.

We try really hard every episode to find creative, entertaining ways to make sense of the big, complicated forces that move our economy. That's why we made a t-shirt and traced the supply chain around the world from cotton field to factory; bought 100 barrels of crude oil and followed it from ground to gas tank; launched a satellite; and built an adorable algorithmic trading Twitter bot.
